The defending Eastern Conference champions would love nothing else but to complete a four game sweep on one of their bitter rivals in the Eastern Conference. Doc Rivers and his squad had four studs on offense, but have been limited off the bench. Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett have all been up and down this season; even missing time due to injuries.
The Celtics are coming off a win over Washington, where Paul Pierce scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Pierce leads the team in points with 18.8 points per game. The Celtics have hung their hat the entire season on the play of their defense. The Celtics are the top defensive team; allowing 90.8 points per game.

Wow, this late in the season, and this is a really big game. Unfortunately it’s not for the top seed, but this game is going to make a huge difference.
