The vision of the all new revamped Twenty20 (T20) Big Bash League is to be the most talked about event in the country and that is certainly the case with the announcement of the return to cricket of Australian cricket icon Shane Warne, who announced he will play for Twenty20 Big Bash League team the Melbourne Stars.
The new format has seen the creation of 8 new Big Bash teams with the 2011/2012 League running from the 16th December to 19th January and promises to be a huge betting event with Twenty20 Big Bash games almost every day. In the past 5 years Big Bash average attendance grew to be second only to the AFL and matches were among the highest rating programs on pay TV over the summer. This year Fox Sports 2 will be broadcasting each and every match live which in turn will offer huge benefits for a punt on the cricket.
Since 2009, the top two teams each season have earned a spot in the Champions League Twenty20, the Indian tournament featuring the world’s best T20 domestic teams, and punters obviously think that with Shane Warne’s help the Melbourne Stars can secure one of those two top spots; although being a new competition there is a few differences amongst the leading bookmakers.

2011/2012 Twenty20 Big Bash Semi Finals Cricket Betting
Big Bash semi finals betting will soon begin. Thursday night will tell us who the 4th placed team will be, and they will play the Perth Scorchers at the WACA. Perth went down tonight in a thriller by 1 run, and they should easily get the victory against whoever they play. Update: The Perth Scorchers will play the Melbourne Stars in the 2nd Semi final of the 2012 Big Bash season.
The 2nd semi final betting will begin any time soon because we know who is playing. The Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Sixers is that matchup.
