Geelong will win the 2009 AFL premiership. At the present time they are paying $1.95 at Sportsbet to secure the flag on final day, but the real betting is in how they will get there.

This is my tip for the winner of the the women’s 2009 Wimbledon Championship. I think the Williams sisters have waned and the others are not up to scratch. I believe that Sharapova (even though her screaming is highly irritating) will win.

Her form recently has been encouraging and a good sign of things to come in this tournament. Even though she is an outsider, I believe she will progress quickly through her rounds and will most definitely be in the final of the 2009 Women’s Wimbledon Championship.

Just get on him. Federer will win. Andy Murray has no heart. He cannot continue to play at a level that is required to be a regular top 2 player. No doubt the top 2 players at the present time are Rafael Nadal when he is fit and Roger Federer.

On Murray, he has shown in the past that when the pressure is on he can’t handle it. He uses injury as an excuse for not continuing, he has a weak heart. He is not a genuine contender for Wimbledon 2009.

Roger Federer will win without a shadow of a doubt. Put whatever you can afford on him. The best bet yet.

QLD will win tomorrow night by 13+ even though they are playing in enemy territory where they haven’t performed well in the past. State Of Origin Game 2, 2009 kicks of tomorrow night in what should be an interesting game to watch. The NSW Blues have made a host of changes to their lineup for both tactical and injury reasons.

There are no certainties in this match but I have a feeling it is going to be a close one. There is no doubt in my mind that the QLD Maroons have a much better side in terms of quality and stars. Whether or not they can win away from home is a different story.

With the introduction of Trent Barrett in to the halves, it should provide much needed experience to direct the team around. Peter Wallace will have to lift his game substantially if the Blues are going to win this one.

Whatever the outcome is in this match, I still think the Maroons will win State Of Origin Game 3. For game 2 though, even though QLD are the favourites I think the Blues will sneak home in a tight one.

Wimbledon 2009 started last night with no real surprises coming out of it. The men’s side of the draw looks like a one horse race at the moment with Roger Federer looking almost unbeatable.
