Game: Connecticut vs. Arizona

The Connecticut Huskies and Arizona Wildcats will get together for the right to play in the Final Four in Houston, Texas. The Huskies come in as the third seed out of the West region, while the Wildcats are the fifth seed. Once Big East play started, the Huskies struggled a bit, and finished ninth in the conference standings. In the Big East tournament, Connecticut downed DePaul, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Louisville to win it. Since the NCAA tournament has started, the Huskies have wins over Bucknell, Cincinnati and San Diego State.
Kemba Walker has put himself in the mix for the national player of the year. Walker led the Huskies in the conference tournament, breaking the record for most points in the tournament. In the NCAA tournament, Walker continued his assault, scoring 30+ twice. Connecticut is scoring 73.4 points per game, as they made nearly 43% of their shots attempted. The Huskies are searching for their fourth trip to the Final Four.
Arizona Overview:
The Arizona Wildcats are coming off the win of the tournament on Thursday night. The Wildcats used a huge second half to blast the defending champion Duke Blue Devils. Arizona also has tournament wins over Memphis and Texas. The win over Memphis was in overtime, while the defeat of Texas came in the final seconds. The Wildcats finished the regular season at the top of the Pac-Ten conference, but were downed in their first game of the conference tournament.
Derrick Williams has been the absolute man for the Wildcats. Williams is scoring 19.1 points per game, and also ripping down 8.1 rebounds per game. The Wildcats 76.5 points per game, which ranked 25th in the country. Arizona has won one national title; back in 1997. The Wildcats are seeking their fifth trip to the Final Four.
