NRL Round 8 2010 – Tips, Picks & Predictions

Sorry this post is a bit late this week folks, the team here at Australian Gambling have been tied up in adding new features for you all to enjoy. Let’s get straigt into it.

Last week in our NRL round 7 tips you’ll see that I predicted 6/8 with my best picks. The only games I got wrong were the Sharks upset over the Knights and the Titans beating Manly.

Last week our in house pro tipster Damien Deery didn’t go quite so well. Here are his tips for this week:

Eels v Dogs = Eels – Tight one, could go either way.
Broncos V Knights = Broncos – Knights are in terrible form, broncos should win at home
Warriors V Raiders = Warriors – These two always win against each other when they are at home
Titans V Panthers = Titans – Tight one, Titans should come up, however are backing up a Monday night game which not many teaks seem to win off.
Cowboys V Storm = Storm – Cowboys are starting to find form, depends on whether
Dragons V Sharks = Dragons by 100, sharks eat dick
Tigers V Roosters = Roosters – roosters have beat them already this year, however are without pearce this week, If I didn’t support roosters I’d go tigers 1-12
Rabbitohs V Sea Eagles – Eagles – this is a flip of the coin, eagles won the toss.

All in all this is the hardest round to tip yet. The only ones I’d put money on are the dragons, warriors and possibly the broncos.

Again, I am going to have to pick differently to Damien this week. I think this will be a tough round as well, with most of the teams I would like to pick playing away from home.

My tips are as follows:

Eels v Dogs = Dogs. Still not impressed by the Eels and the Dogs have come up against stronger competiton in recent weeks.
Broncos V Knights = Broncos. Both teams aren’t performing well but Broncos will be hard to beat at home.
Warriors V Raiders = Both have erratic form but Warriors are more likely to produce on their home turf.
Titans V Panthers = Titans played poorly on Monday despite the win and Panthers are in top form. Take the Panthers.
Cowboys V Storm = Cowboys showed a bit more last week and the Storm will struggle away with the controversy.
Dragons V Sharks = Dragons will be way too good.
Tigers V Roosters = Tigers are too tough at Campbelltown.
Rabbitohs V Sea Eagles = Many. Rabbits are not impressive at all and Manly will be too strong here.
